I always get excited about something new, and these Eat! frozen entrees were no exception! I tried 3 – I can go back and get more if they are good.
I started with the beef and broccoli. The packaging, frankly, is prettier than the food. These are small. I have no idea how they fit nearly 300 calories into these tiny entrees. If I were dieting they would be good, but to me they seemed like dainty portions.
Next, I tried the chicken fajita bowl. This would be a full meal, for a mouse. Me, I cooked two frozen breaded pieces of chicken, and added them to the bowl with some hot sauce. Then it was enough food.
Finally, the vegetarian bowl. Of the three, this was the only one I’d call “yummy.” I added two frozen breaded pieces of chicken to this one, as well, but adding vegetarian chicken is always an option…
Overall opinion — these all had pretty good ingredients, but they felt more like side entrees than real meals. If the world ended and this is the only thing you had to eat, you would still need a Twinkie for dessert. If you buy Eat! frozen entrees, plan on them being a snack, not a full dinner. Unless you’re a mouse.
