Dollar Tree Dining #5

Why am I so obsessed with Dollar Tree?! A few times a month, my partner and I go to the nearby Dollar Tree, grab one of their shopping carts, and fill it up with fun foods. Often, a few impulse snacks will end up in our cart for the way home:

Dollar Tree has the best chocolate and balloons. I told my partner that I’m not that into flowers, but that I like balloons. Early on, he bought me a balloon bouquet from one of those “delivery flower shops.” He spent a lot of money for them to send me a few balloons, a sad stuffed gorilla, and cheap Elmer’s chocolates (not edible). The next time, he spent $8 at Dollar Tree and got me a huge bunch of balloons and a Landmark dark chocolate bar from Dollar Tree! Landmark Dark Chocolate is a Dollar Tree staple, and in my opinion, it’s as good as any name brand chocolate.

I got a bunch of new foods to try. I’ve never tried them before — it was just for the blog!

First, I tried muffin bites (I added butter and apple butter). They were chewy and delicious.

Then, Mac and Cheese with big chunks of Bacon. Oh my god, soooo good!

Then, ziti with meat sauce. Not bad, and I added some parmesan cheese and hot sauce for enhanced flavor. I’d eat it again!

Finally, orange chicken. I ate this for breakfast, and it got me through my morning. Yum!

Besides the fact that everything was delicious, another thing that impressed me about these products were the ingredients! No high fructose corn syrup, nothing too terrible that I couldn’t pronounce. All in all, I was very impressed with everything! I would buy all of these products again!
